The Halloween Party was absolutely exciting! It was the first time to participate in the Halloween Party as we don’t celebrate it in Japan. It was a wonderful day that remained in my memories.
Our group members decided to dress up as zombies about 3 weeks ago, and also started to dance thriller like Michael Jackson did. I love to dance for the reason that I belonged to dance club when I was a high school student. I’m not a good dancer, however I like to create original dancing. Takako was so creative, so I relied on her. She and I taught thriller and rests of our group members memorized dancing. We practiced it every night, so we spent very fun time for a week. One day, we knew that another group also would dance thriller. That was surprising for us, and we thought good way to dance together and then we could exchange with JC, and we made one dance together. It was supreme work, and it was my best memory. It was nervous for me to dance in front of people, but I really enjoyed dancing with my group members! I was pleasant because lots of people praised us after we danced.
We made costumes by ourselves. I dressed up as the patient zombie. My imagination was the patient, who died because of tuberculosis. I was very surprised after I put on my makeup. My face was very scary as if I put on a mask. I cut a T-shirt and a pants, and painted them. I could make patient clothes easily. My favorite zombie’s clothes was wedding dress. I had never seen such a horrible and funny dress!
During the party, everyone didn’t notice who I am because my face was painted. I shed blood from my mouth. The people who saw me were frightened! It was very interesting. My group members were remarkable, and people took pictures with us! I was really happy because I felt we became popular! To our regret, one of my group members couldn’t participate in the party, but we have the chance to wear the costume and dance again because our RA plans to dance, so I’m looking forward to dancing again! She will invite her friends and we will show our dancing, so we will practice and improve it from now. Yeah!!!
