First, we went to beautiful gardens in Spokane. One of them had lots of Japanese plants, and the other one had lots of colorful and cute flowers. I had been there once, but there had been no flowers. It was the first time for me to see such a beautiful garden. There was a green-house around the garden. Around Christmas, we would see illuminated plants there. I want to see them, so I asked them to take us there. They will take us again before we leave Spokane.
Second, we went to church to have lunch. The church held a Japanese food bazaar. We ate teriyaki there. It tasted stronger than Japanese teriyaki, but I really enjoyed it. My host family also said it was nice.
Next, we went back to their house and baked a lot of cookies. We usually bake cookies when we visit their house. They are easy to make and taste so nice. I like them, and my friends also love them. We often bring them to my dormmates as souvenirs. Today we also did it. They were really pleased. When I saw their happy faces, I felt warm.
Finally, we had a great dinner. Today's dinner was pizza. We really enjoyed eating pizzas and talking about a lot of things. They always try to understand us, so we can enjoy chatting. The enjoyable time passed so quickly. We had to go back to our dorm. We really spent a special time with them. I am already looking forward to seeing them again.
